  • Developing an automatic syringe detection using YOLOv8 to automate task of extract ROI from five different syringe types (1ml, 3ml, 10ml, 30ml, and 50ml).
  • Designing an automatic volume recognition system based on the number of lines in the syringe using image processing techniques: Thresholding, Morphological Transformation, and Contour Detection using OpenCV.
  • Presenting the research outcomes at several international conferences: ICAISP-2024, ICBHI-2024, and SEMBA-2025.

  • Using U-Net to automate image segmentation task of chest x-ray images and creating a downloadable GUI software to classify between Normal vs. COVID-19 vs. Pneumonia Chest X-Ray images.
